As you stroll through town, you’ll likely notice a number of construction projects underway - part of Ogunquit’s ongoing efforts to keep things in great shape for the season ahead.
The pier at
is currently undergoing repairs that are expected to continue through May. Due to the presence of construction equipment, several parking spots and part of the pier are temporarily inaccessible. Once complete, the upgraded deck will be level with the boardwalk, greatly improving accessibility for everyone.
Over on the Marginal Way crews are making important repairs to sea walls and the staircase leading down to Little Beach. While the path remains open throughout the project, you may encounter brief closures as equipment is moved along the trail.
And if you haven’t walked past Town Hall lately, it’s worth a look! The new municipal building next to the
is taking shape quickly. The structure is up, complete with a roof and windows. Once finished, it will house both Town Hall and the Ogunquit Police Department, bringing key services together under one roof.
