The Fourth of July in Ogunquit is one of our favorite days of the year! As evening approaches, the beach transforms into a lively celebration—families and friends set up blankets, play music, and enjoy the long stretch of twilight before the big show. The fireworks display, sponsored by the

Ogunquit Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center

, is absolutely spectacular and lasts over 30 minutes, lighting up the ocean sky starting at 9:15 PM. High tide is at 7:19 PM, so the beach will gradually open up with more space as the night goes on.

Important reminder: the Main Beach parking lot closes at 4:00 PM to prepare for the event, so plan to arrive early in the day or, even better, book a hotel within walking distance to fully enjoy the experience without the stress. This is a unique and unforgettable way to celebrate the holiday by the sea.
